...when will you say "When?"
They came first for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,
and by that time no one was left to speak up.- New England Holocaust Memorial - Boston MA
Contrary to what you may be hearing from some commentators and minor celebrities in the media these days, it is NOT unpatriotic to question what is going on and to speak about those concerns - in fact, it's your duty as a citizen to be as informed as possible and not just swallow what you are told. If you're still not quite sure that there's enough to take a stand about, please visit the sites below. They are not presented to change your mind - we don't want you switching sides blindly. They are simply offered as another side to the "official" story and to spur the asking of some tough questions.
What we want is for you to read something other than your usual newspaper reports and watch something other than your regular news program. Take a look at some of the excellent sources below - refuse to be a sheep.

A summary of The Patriot Act from The Library of Congress.

Do some exploring - that's what Internet search engines are for.
Google: Marvin Bush, Blackwater, Pat Tillman, Jessica Lynch, WTC7, 5,000,000 missing emails, Paul Wolfowitz, Alberto Gonzales, and go from there.
Dig deeper - once you get started, it may be difficult to stop.
Ask questions - We've GOT to start asking the questions we're afraid of. First ask them privately. Then ask them of your family. Then ask your friends - you'd be amazed at what they might know. Ask them of the people who really need to hear them - ask YOUR government. These people all work for you - and you deserve answers.
And, finally, ask yourself just what it will take to make you angry enough to take a stand.
Are you ready now?
We are not here to debate. You are still guaranteed your opinion by the Constitution. If you disagree with us, there are places - though dwindling in number - to voice that opinion.
